Impel Down Boa Hancock Cosplay

One of the designs that we have completed in the past was a full replication of the Boa Hancock costume at Impel Down. For the Impel Down Boa Hancock costume, a wide range of materials had to be worked with to create the design.

This costume, in particular, features multiple pieces including the golden yellow dress featuring the Kuja Pirates design. On top of that, a cape with fur lining added further detail for the Boa Hancock costume. Multiple types of fabric were sewn together to create the dress and cape including satin and shantung for an elegant look.

Two different types of synthetic fur were used to create the finishing touches on the costume. A white synthetic fur-lined the bottom of the qipao dress while a darker brown synthetic fur was used to line the top of the cape.

From creating the Kuja designs, sewing all of the material, and designing and finalizing both the dress and the cape, the Boa Hancock cosplay design took around 45 days from start to finish, resulting in a beautiful and accurate costume perfect for any cosplay event.
