The order for this costume came in during December of 2015.  The first step after receiving the order was to make sure that we got all of the information that was needed from the client, like measurements and body size, etc.  This is an important step that many don’t think about when looking at creating a costume.  As this is being created from scratch, our biggest priority to customer satisfaction is making sure that is going to be a perfect fit for whoever ordered it.  Since you are paying money for professional services, it is our goal to give you professional results.  Getting accurate measurements of all kinds helped us get started on the right foot.

Next came the research.  We asked for the client to provide a few sample photos of the exact photo s/he had in mind, and after getting that, we used that as a base to make sure that we got the right imagine in our heads, too.  We exhausted all of Google’s options and then switched to YouTube, using everything from plays to the various versions of the movie to ensure that we had all angles of the costume covered so that we could create the replica perfectly.  This is an important part of the process – making sure the research was thorough and included all angles and options.  We sent a rough mock up to the client to confirm this and make any needed adjustments and modifications at his/her request.  The client’s happiness is the most important thing, after all.

The next step was to create the leaves of the neckline one by one.  This was a long process and involved perfect each and every single leaf perfectly from start to finish.  Anything that was sloppy or awkward – even in the smallest way – was thrown out and replaced by the perfect option instead.  This allowed us to create the perfect look by ensuring that every element of it was perfect.

The next step was creating the hat to perfectly imitate that from the photos.  This was done by using additional measurements from the client to make sure that it would fit and look exactly as it was intended to when it was finished.

Once the pieces were all completed and assembled, we had to distress the entire costume using various methods.  Distressing was important to make sure that it looked like the real costume by the tie we were done.  After all, would Peter Pan – the original character, of course – have a perfectly maintained outfit that was free from wear and tear as well as the perfect maintenance?  No, of course not.  So, in order to live up to our name as one of the best professional cosplay costume creators for any need you have, we needed to make sure the finished product was exactly how we had wanted it.  This meant that it took some time and work to get the distressing just right, but the finished product was well worth the wait.

Throughout the entire process, we relayed our progress to the client so that s/he could see how it was going.  This enabled us to hear any kind of options as far as tweaking was concerned, and also make sure that s/he was happy with each step of the progress.  We were able to dialogue back and forth regularly and the client had the last say in everything, as it should be.
